The 25 year-old art student and singer from Hamburg is the new shooting star of the German music scene, going straight out in front from a standing start. Just 6 weeks after the release of her 1st album 'Bohème' (on October 25, 2004) she achieved gold status, a further 3 weeks later platinum, and meanwhile, in January 2006, double platinum !
Highest chart position of 'Bohème' was no. 3, and the album has been in the German Top Ten for 14 weeks (in all for 48 weeks). The first single, 'Das Spiel', which was originally planned only as a promotion trailer, has been in the charts for 19 weeks, reaching no. 5.
Annett has received various awards from the German music business, among others the German 'Echo 2005' as 'Best female artist'.
Her new album 'Unausgesprochen' entered the German Top 100 on November 11, 2005 at no. 3 and already went gold status.
From February until April 2006 Annett Louisan will be on tour with her band.
