Carlos Di Sarli
Piano player, director and composer, Carlos Di Sarli was born on January 7, 1903.
Nobody like him knew how to combine the tango rhythmic sequence with a harmonious structure, which seemed simple, but was filled with superb musical hints.
His was not a traditional orchestra. Di Sarli imposed his own style, a different musical profile which keeps unalterable all along his vast experience.
He was a talented piano player, one of the most important who conducted from the piano, with which he dominated the synchronicity and performance of the whole orchestra.
His most popular songs include: "Bahía Blanca" and "Pobre Buzón".
He died on January 12, 1960.
