Domingo Federico
Bandoneon player, director, composer and teacher, Domingo Federico was born on June 4th, 1916.
This unforgettable musician and excellent melodic author, who had settled in Rosario (Argentina), province of Santa Fe, was in fact an original porteño from the district of "Palermo Viejo". He learnt how to play violin from his father and then resorted to piano and composition.
Domingo Federico was a prominent figure among the creators of tango. His work is of such a quality that, many of his works turned into standards of the genre such as: "Saludos", "Yuyo Verde", "Pobre Arlequín".
He died on April 6th, 2000.
