Enrique Heredia
Enrique Heredia "Negri"
In his last record, ENRIQUE HEREDIA "NEGRI" sings Agustín Lara´s repertoire with flamenco style.

At the age of 7 he used to play football in a square by Lavapiés, close to the statue of a Mexican singer who had never put his feet in Madrid. The little boy was Enrique Heredia "Negri". The statue was Agustin Lara’. The boy used to look at Lara’s statue and ask about the identity of that metal man with a scar on his face. Today, Heredia has no doubts. 25 years later, Negri has released a record with covers of Agustin Lara. The album is called "EL ULTIMO BESO" (The Last Kiss) and he goes through Lara’s repertoire who recorded over 600 compositions. Some of the songs included in this album are "GRANADA", "MARIA BONITA" and "MADRID".

Blended with flamenco rhythms, artists such as Paquito d’Rivera have participated in the album which will be presented at Madrid’s Jazz Festival.
