At 28, Carlos Villamil, FENIX has already dedicated half of his life to music, “my life is music, and I live for it. It’s what makes me tick, the reason of my existence.”

Only the big ones are confident about what they want to achieve, what they want to transmit and how to do it. FENIX is certain about it, he has been influenced by and has learnt from big names such as Raphael, Camilo Sesto… but he also admires Christian Castro. “I don’t want to sing for 15,000 screaming fans, I’m looking for closeness and quality in my show, so that the artist means something, the one who is able to excite with a glance. On the Stage I’m the best, I have to be the best. I’ll fight to the end for it”.

FENIX boast a great vocal sound, his technique is enviable. His stage presence doesn’t leave anyone indifferent nor do his lyrics written with his innermost-self and with an aching heart that finds its most inspirational moment at daybreak “night allows me to do what others don’t dare to do, to undress myself internally”.
