Grafton Primary
Grafton Primary
With sound histories in the musical realm, brothers Joshua (voice) and Benjamin (synths/keytar) manifest digital and analogue ideas; one part divine inspiration, one part machine translation. Together they create grand poetic electronica, with its own future echo. On stage drummer Robbie makes his own waves, and the trio is complete.

Grafton Primary began live performances in April of 2006 in Sydney. In 2007 things got more serious on the live front, with national tours that covered numerous venues, both large and small.

2008 has been a huge year on the festival circuit, with sets at Big Day Out, Good Vibrations, Playground Weekender, Field Day, the Essential Festival and Parklife sending ripples of excitement through the national music scene.

In addition, Grafton Primary have remixed Faker, Via Tanya and more recently, the Dukes Of Windsor. The remix of Faker’s "This Heart Attack" received extensive radio and club play and led to an invitation to tour nationally with the band.

Grafton Primary’s debut album ‘Eon’, released in September, has been receiving critical acclaim and support from fans, radio and DJs around Australia and is now reaching out to the World.

In its first week of release, ''Eon'' debuted on i-tunes at #1 on the Dance/Electronic chart, #7 on the main download chart and #12 on the Independent CD chart. Their new single "All Stars" is currently on rotation on national broadcaster Triple J.

In the live front, Grafton Primary have just completed a 25 date national tour of Australia including the national run with the Parklife Festival which reached 100,000 plus outdoor revelers.

In December and the New Year another round of Festivals commence including; Homebake, Falls, Southbound, Summerbreak and Playground Weekender.

2009 beckons with a European tour in May and the possibility of Festivals in Mexico City, Sweden, Spain and other EU countries. Grafton Primary and ''Eon'' look set to span a long period of time.

"Grafton Primary’s recorded music is brilliant and well crafted...live is like the icing on the cake." -- Faster Louder

"A new addition to the Ausralian indie/electro cannon, we can only hope they keep on making albums as killer and hypnotic as this one." -- In The Mix
