Greg Johnston
Greg Johnston has had a life full of music. Firstly a classically trained pianist, his upbringing was enriched by the musical exposure of his parents. With the turntable spinning, young Greg soaked up the Motown, Country, Rock, Jazz, and Classical music that made up their family’s extensive record collection.
Not content with classical piano Greg picked up the electric bass, moved out of rural Alberta, and studied Jazz at College. Fifteen years in the professional world of music now finds Greg a respected songwriter/bassist/guitarist/singer/producer/programmer, and his writing is as diverse as his abilities.
Thirty-three years old and a platinum album under his belt (Ryan Malcom – “home”) Greg Johnston is quickly becoming a name on everyone’s lips, and will surely be for years to come.
