Hana-b
Hana-b, a young pop-rock band from Northwest Italy, signed with peermusic in 2006.
The crew is composed of Fabrizio Vitale (voice and guitar), Federico Ciani (keyboards & piano), Francesco Menegat (bass), Valerio Morrone (drums) and Alessandro Ciani (guitars) – All the band members are in their 20s and compose their own songs.
The band started playing together in 2001, in a little garage next door. There, they began to experiment their sound: melodic pop-rock with a strong British influence and a bit of the 60’s energy...
In 2003 Hana-b met producers Cristiano Joyeusaz and Marco Peretti from the young Indie label Operà Studio, a pivotal moment for the band.
A human and artistically natural feeling emerged and soon they began recording in the studio, Nervi and In Vortice. With those two songs, the band won the jury prize at the S.Marino Music Festival as well as several other important prizes for young and promising Italian bands.
The following year they embarked on their first National Tour and afterward recorded their first album Camera Oscura, for which peermusic has worldwide publishing.
The production of the album was a collaboration with some of the best known producers and arrangers in Italy.
The album received very positive reviews in the national press, the videos for the first two singles are shown on MTV and other music channels.
For the second album the band went to London and recorded several songs with British producer James Loughrey at the Diary Studios in Brixton.
