His long list of credits include work on albums for Madonna, The Talking Heads, B-52’s, Lisa Lisa, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, George Benson and Frank Sinatra to name a few. Jimmy went on to sing commercials His diverse background over the years in the music industry led him to his ultimate dream, pursuing a career as a songwriter, which has and always will be the love of his life.

Jimmy’s first release as a peermusic writer, “Heart Of A Champion” recorded by Carman (Sparrow/EMI), debuted at # 1 on Billboard’s Contemporary Christian Charts and entered at # 53 on Billboard’s Top 200. The song is the title track to Carman’s greatest hits album and is also the title track to the movie “Heart Of A Champion”. Carman, a veteran multi-platinum artist in Christian music, performed to an estimated 1.2 million people by tours end on his world tour named “Heart Of A Champion”. In the spring of 2000, Jimmy’s song, “A Girl Can Dream” was recorded by PYT (Epic) and included on the soundtrack, CENTER STAGE. This song was also on PYT’s debut album released in 2001. “A Girl Can Dream” was also recorded by Cris Villonco (BMG Philippines), a very popular artist in Asia/Pacific.

Jimmy also had a summer hit on the radio in Spain titled “Si La Amas” recorded by Sandino on Bat Records/BMG. It reached # 17 on “Los 40 Principales”, Spain’s most prominent Top 40 airplay chart. Sandino released the song in the United States as well as in Venezuela and Colombia. The English version of “Si LA Amas” aka “If You Love Her” was also released by Soren Sko (Virgin/Denmark) on his album titled Shine. In 2001, the 80’s “arena rock group” Asia released Jimmy’s “Forgive Me” in Europe and Asia.
