Kuo Tze is regarded as a multi-talented artist. He is a writer, a producer, a singer, and a dramatic actor. He opened a theater company in Taiwan called 'Taipei Story Theater', and has been produced famous dramas for Taiwan audiences.

Kuo Tze, born in 1966, started to write music and lyrics at the tender age of 16. In 1986, he studied drama at the famous National School of Arts, and his first public performance was in 1986 playing in the production of "Tea House", and performed the song 'Square'.

In 1988, he started to score soundtracks for drama productions. His first was 'The Story about a Zoo', in which he also acted. In 1989 he composed for another series of dramas: 'By the Well of a Hawk', 'Drum of a Dome', 'Sham's Piano', 'Light Count Down for 9 seconds, Please Be Ready', and 'No. 1 Taiwan'. In the same year, he published his first solo album, 'Purely Friction'.

In 1991, his published his second solo album 'Children Playgrounds', and was awarded the 'Best Experimental Spirit' by the China Times Nightly News. In 1992, he scored two other dramas, 'Lonely Heart Club', and 'Madame Butterfly'. In 1993, released his first drama soundtrack 'Ambassador's Woman'.

In 1995, he published his 3rd album, 'Pigeon and Sea', and in 1996, he joined Rock Records and published his 4th solo album, 'Actually, it's Kuo Tze' as well as his second drama soundtrack, 'Extremely Insane'.

He not only impresses Taiwan audiences with his musical and dramatic talents but he has also impressed the Mandarin music industry. Jacky Cheung's 'Stealing Heart', 'I forget U Not', A-Mei's 'I Want Nothing From U', 'Lover, Enemy', Halen Hsu's 'Sunlight Airport', Co Co Lee's 'Promise Me', Alex To's 'Never Regret'........ on and on .....all these albums may exceed 7 million copies in Taiwan alone.
