La Maquina De Hacer Pajaros
La Maquina De Hacer Pajaros
The "Máquina de Hacer Pájaros" was the band formed by Charly García after the dissolution of Sui Generis. The original project left behind the acoustic-folk style of the band, which had given Sui Generis huge success, in order to move forward to a more symphonic Rock style. In its brief life, the band released two albums: "La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros" (1976) and "Películas" (1977). With "La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros", Charly García gave form to one of the best bands of the Argentine band within the genre.

This band was the most complex and deepest attempt of symphonic Rock in Argentina and, with this project, García introduced the novelty of two simultaneous keyboard players. This new style was apparently the clearest restriction between the band and the public which was still loyal to Sui Generis.
