Luis Alberto Spinetta
Luis Alberto Spinetta was born in Buenos Aires January 23, 1950. Also known as “El Flaco”, Spinetta is an accomplished Argentine Rock musician, poet and songwriter.
His most popular songs include: “Durazno Sangrando”, “Nena Boba”, “Poseído del Alba” just to name a few. His albums are icons of the Argentine Rock music.
His lyrics had strongly been influenced by writers and poets such as Artaud, Rimbaud, Jung, Nietzsche and so forth. A consummate lyricist and musician, his style has been considered complex within the history of the Argentine Rock. Spinetta is probably, together with Charly García, one of the most influential musicians of the Argentine Rock music.
