Miguel Angel Guerra
Miguel Angel Guerra, winner of the Festival OTI Internacional and
finalist in the Festival de Viña del Mar, went on to be a member of the
vocal group ISISSA and later on the duo group COLLAGE.
He has since built an impressive career in the field of Spanish
Christian music, starting with his vocal interpretation of “Besos
de Mariposa” (“Butterfly Kisses’).
His album “Solo El Amor” (Word), was released in 2000, and gathered
him the Gospel Music Association’s (GMA) “Dove” Award for Best
Spanish Language Album of the year 2001. This was followed by “Hoy
Más Que Nunca” (Vida) in 2002. Both albums were produced by Hal
S. Batt.
Miguel Angel’s highly spiritual and poetic lyrics and impressive
performance, have made him a favorite in this very special category.
We at peermusic Miami are proud to count him among our group of
talented writers/artists…
