Mojo Magnet
Mojo Magnet is the artist moniker of Artist/Composer/Producer Scott Miller. Based in Los Angeles, Scott is a successful composer of music for commercials, movie trailers, film and television. His credits include trailers for films such as Saw, Zathura, Crimson River and John Carpenter’s Vampires, commercial spots for Hyundai and Red Bull and he created the long running music log for Tri Star Pictures. He just completed producing record projects for up-and-coming artists Whitney Steele and Thomas.
Mojo, the artist, is, well, a little harder to label. He is an American from England who calls Africa home. So, just a regular guy. Mojo has played in twenty-five countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, The Caribbean, South America, Latin America and Eastern Europe. He has been met with open hearts everywhere and besides being a guitar god (nominated as most outstanding guitarist at Musicians Institute) he is also a minor deity on the bass, double bass, piano, drums, and cowbell. Heck, he even wails on the banjo.
Mojo’s debut album entitled Specnabulous is a little hard to categorize but is a mix of fun, quirky pop/electronica sprinkled with a bit of pop rock gospel punk jazz blues alternative opera soul folk rap R&B polka dance disco lounge techno swing and reggae But that’s oversimplifying it. Obviously.
So, that’s Mojo. In a nutshell.
And you thought the word eclectic was only used to describe someone’s taste.
