Naldo
Arnaldo "Naldo" Santos is a young composer who started his musical career very early in life… His first experience was at the age of 16, when he played at his school with Sahara, his first Rock band. Shortly after, Naldo toured with different Rock bands throughout Puerto Rico, after which he started his own Rock band, Pique, that became one of the most talked-about Heavy Rock groups on The Island.
After developing his talent in the Rock genre, Naldo discovers Reggaeton, through one of the most successful producers in the Reggaeton genre: Luny Tunes. Naldo starts to work as Operations Director for the record label Mas Flow, while acting as musical producer, composer and arranger with string instruments. Naldo is also the producer of choice of some of the best known artists in the genre for voice recordings. At the Luny Tunes studio, Naldo has the opportunity to work in some of the most transcendental Reggaeton productions, such as Daddy Yankee’s Barrio Fino, which has sold over a million copies.
His talent has also produced the albums of Los Bacatranes de Trébol Clan, La Misión, La Trayectoria, Héctor El Bambino’s Los Anormales, Niky Jam’s Vida Escante de, Luny Tunes’ Mas Flow 2 and MPV2. Naldo has also produced songs for artists such as Don Omar, Zion & Lenox, and Voltio.
In his first production, Sangre Nueva, Naldo searched for hidden talents and put them together with stars already established in the genre in order to open the way to the next generation of Reggaeton greats. The album is presently
ranked No. 3 in Billboard’s Top Latin Albums.
