Robert started playing guitar and keyboards at the age of 13. By the time he was 15 years old, he was touring with such musical luminaries as Sly and The Family Stone, War, LTD and Smokey Robinson. Being sought after for his musical talents as a session player, he has performed on over 200 records to date, including those of Sheena Easton, Natalie Cole and Lionel Ritchie.

As soon as he began branching out in the area of producing, he once again proved he had the “Midas” touch with records he produced for the Gap Band, Taja Seville and Bobby Womack. Most recently wrote and produced tracks for Atlantic acts Changing Faces, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Chaka Kahn.

Being a multi-talented individual, Robert has also scored and performed music for films, such as “Down And Out In Beverly Hills”, as well as four NBC movies of the week, including one entitled “Shakin’ Baker”, in which he appeared with the legendary Miles Davis.

In the future, Robert is focusing on writing and producing U.S. as well as International artists.
