Xeronimo
Born in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He showed a great inclination for singing ever since he was very little. This led him to enter several musical competitions where he performed the hit songs of the day. In his first contest he vied with 18 and 20 year-olds, singing "Hacer El Amor Con Otro". The quality and strength of his interpretation won him first prize.

In 1998 Xerónimo moved to Mexico City hoping to obtain a recording deal. There he met Amparo Rubín who, after she heard him sing, decided to back him. That same year, at only 14 years old he entered the "Voz Del Heraldo" (Voice of the Herald) competition and after an intense contest among 200 participants, all over 18 years old, he garnered the second place award.

After two years of intense preparation at the artist development workshop of Ms. Rubín, Xerónimo’s album "Amor Anónimo" was released by Universal Music. The disk included 13 songs written especially for him The themes are all about the different feelings and emotions that adolescents live through: gloom, fantasy, hope, love, which Xerónimo sings with the great variety of shades that allow us to appreciate his excellent interpretative quality. His first single “Tras De Tus Pasos” (Following Your Footsteps), a rhythmic, fresh and catchy song placed among the 5 best in the charts. The disk was recorded in the Le June studio in Riolo Terme, Italy, under the guidance and production of Amparo Rubín and Loris. Ceroni. "Amor Anónimo" is a great album and Xerónicmo is an artist who has the preparation, constancy and necessary discipline to become one of the best performers of spanish pop music.

In 2001 Xerónimo moved to Miami where he studied English, took guitar, voice and production lessons and spent as much time as possible composing for his second album. After three years of intense work this second record is produced by the Mexican JG Mansur in the producer’s own studio in Miami. The album includes several of his own compositions besides songs by authors like Juan Carlos Pérez-Soto, José Miguel Velásquez, José Luis Morín, Eduardo Osorio, Fernando Osorio, Olgui Chirino and JG Mansur with many diverse rhythms like guaguancó, rock, salsa, vallenato, rap, cha-cha-cha and Mariachi.

The album will be released simultaneously in countries like Spain, Portugal, France, Argentina, Colombia, Dominican Republic, USA and his native Mexico. The first single, "Y Si Te Olvido", written by José Miguel Velázquez released in Spain, promises to be a hit.

Xerónimo has signed an exclusive songwriter contract with peermusic/Miami and a recording deal with Waiter Music / Universal in Spain, and Jaleo Music / Universal in Latin America.

To date Xerónimo’s tour includes 30 concerts in the summer of 2005 in Europe, and has similar plans for the American continent. His album is a priority of his label for 2005.
