Todd Herfindal
After relocating to Los Angeles from his native San Francisco in 2003, Todd Herfindal has been steadily building up his song catalogue. Since signing to Peer Music and 2412 Publishing (Red Zone Ent.) in September 2004, Todd has written tracks with Christopher "Tricky" Stewart (Rhianna), The Dream, Kuk Harrell, Penelope Magnet, Thabiso "Tab" Nkereanye, and Latina legend Paulina Rubio. Todd's recent 2412 collaboration "Let's Get Excited" was the 3rd single on Alesha Dixon's Atlantic U.K. album "The Alesha Show." The release of "Let's Get Excited" pushed the album to certified Platinum status peaking at 13 on the BBC Top 40. Todd also co-wrote the song "Juliana" on Audrye Sessions' self-titled RCA debut released Feb. 2009.
Todd's original compositions from his band The Meadows have landed in several motion pictures: "Younger Yesterday" in the movie "Little Manhattan" (2005-Fox/New Regency), "This is a Call" in the film "Griffin & Phoenix" (2006-Gold Circle Films), "Count On Me" in the family movie "Firehouse Dog" (2007-Fox/New Regency) and "Little Bit Of Soul" in the feature film "American Primitive" (2009- Cape Cod Films). Todd's songs have also been heard in countless TV shows such as "Men In Trees" and "Army Wives," and on several networks such as ABC, E!, MTV, Lifetime, HBO etc.
Add the roles of accomplished producer/engineer, and it cements Todd's "triple threat" status. His production and engineering work has been heard on major label albums, movie soundtracks such as "American Pie 2", and even on Jazz albums like Jonny Blu's "Taboo!" (from Peer Music's Latin standards catalogue).
