Mr. Lab!

Created in 2002 by Yves Labbé , the French electro rock band Mr Lab! has just recorded their 2nd album "Post Industrial Ceremony" (Jayjay Productions / Peermusic)

The first LP "And now it's time to go..." (released in 2005) had a good media and professionals success in France. Winner of independent awards, Mr Lab came into "independent rock" charts. A good surprise for a band that set up its own label. After touring for years in France and in Europe as a guitar player, Yves decided to create his own band and took his own nickname : Mr Lab. Given by Phil Parfitt (ex. Perfect Disaster) when Yves was touring with Oedipussy around UK. Just before, he lived in London and worked in collaboration with Chris Jagger and Chris Kemsey on a French project.

When he came back to France after several years in England, he wanted to start his own project : Mr Lab!

He wrote the songs and called his friends up to start working on a first album and playing it live. The band recorded it in summer 2004.

One year later, Jayjay and the band felt that it was time to go ... abroad. The 1st LP is now released in Germany, Austria, Switzerland (Supermusic) and the band toured a lot in France, Germany and Hungary too.

For the second one, they decided to work with Pedro Resende (Tahiti 80) in the Tahiti Lab studio and Tony Lash (Dandy Warhols, Elliott Smith, Tahiti 80 ...) for mixing. And here it is! "Post Industrial Ceremony" is a new and powerful "rock" album mixed with electro sounds and nice ambiance vibes...

With : Frank Bessard (drums), Greg Boust (DJ), Yves Labbé (Lead and guitar), Guillaume "Toz" Paillotin (bass) and Thomas Schaettel (Keyboards).
