peermusic UK Announces Agreement with Ishti Music, Publishing Catalog of Ziggy Marley
Peermusic is delighted to announce that we have concluded an agreement with the Tuff Gong Worldwide organization, in respect of Ishti Music, the publishing catalogue of Ziggy Marley, oldest son of legendary reggae star Bob and Rita Marley, and a hugely successful reggae artist in his own right, with five Grammy awards to his name.
Ziggy was the natural heir to the throne left vacant by his father’s untimely death in 1981, along with backing band the Melody Makers, a unit comprised of his brothers and sisters, he successfully carried on the tradition of communicating the music’s message to a growing global audience in the process even scoring a US Top 40 single.
The agreement covers the UK and Eire together with Spanish and Portuguese-speaking territories.
